Power of a Purse - Campaign in NYC

Mothers & More-- New York City Chapter #320 has launched a Mother’s Day campaign called "Power of a Purse". The campaign is designed to raise awareness of mothers through the act of collecting new or gently used purses for mothers in need. The purse symbolizes a woman's economic power, something we wish for all women, especially mothers in need. No matter where a mother is on the social ladder, there is “power in her purse” having money of her own to provide for herself and her family. Mothers & More of NYC will donate all purses to the YMCA of the City of New York on Friday, May 7th, in time for Mothers Day.

If you would like to participate by donating a purse, please go to MoonSoup (http://www.moonsoup.net) located at 1059 2nd Avenue between 55th and 56th Street in NYC. MoonSoup is open Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Thank you in advance.
